Dark, yet vibrant Norway's Skrymir tells a tale set in its own fantasy world, inspired by J.R.R Tolkien and Norse mythology. The debut album ‘Predominate’ is the third and final chapter in "The Mountain Beast and the story of Fauna" trilogy.

Mountain Beast has stolen the Winter stone, from Fauna the earth’s protector. With the Winter stone and with a hand shake, she can decide when, how much and how powerful the winter will become.

Now the Mountain Beast has the stone, he Predominates a winter so strong that it will destroy the world. Fauna must go on a journey to Midnight Mountain, where the Mountain Beast lives, and take back her Winter stone...

Skrymir is a one-man project formed in 2018 in Hønefoss (Norway). Skrymir has a goal of bringing back the dark and cold black metal sound from the late 80s and 90s, enriched with nordic folk and a strong sense of melancholy.
